The 2016 show season was very successful and fun for the Roscallie flock. We attended just three shows and were delighted to come home with two Championships, two Reserve Championships and lots of first prizes.

We were especially pleased with our home bred ewe lamb Roscallie Dilly Dally (Wallridge Moor Bob x Beech Hay Balata) who remained unbeaten and also took Champion and Reserve Champion titles. Our shearling ewe Brookdene Claudia (Woodston Pedrog x Brookdene 393T) was also very consistent with 1st, 1st and 2nd and a Reserve Championship. From the eight breed classes we contested during the season, we were only beaten twice. From the six classes in which we had two entries we were very pleased to achieve 1st & 2nd on four occasions followed by 1st & 3rd and 2nd & 3rd.

We would like to thank all the judges for their time and feedback which is always appreciated and also extend a big thank you to the show organisers, stewards and everyone who works tirelessly to ensure each show runs smoothly when quite often having to operate during typically wet and windy British summer weather! Many congratulations to all the other exhibitors, we fully understand the time and effort that goes into preparing a show team and the consistently high standard of stock forward makes each rosette a privilege to take home.
