Roscallie took a team of five to the lovely Newport Show in Shropshire on July 9th, 2016, our third and final show of the season and we were delighted to take Champion and Reserve Champion in the Zwartbles breed classes.

Two shear ewe Beech Hay Bramble was attending only her third show and was 1st in the Aged Ewes before going on to take Champion. In the shearling ewes we were 1st with Brookdene Claudia and 2nd with Glencoy Ciara and in the ewe lambs were 1st with Roscallie Dilly Dally (attended three shows and remains unbeaten) who went on to be Reserve Breed Champion, and 2nd with Roscallie Daffodil. We'd like to extend a big thank you to Mrs Joan Rowlands for judging.

To top off a great day, Oscar was also 4th in a huge Young Handler Class with Claudia.

The torrential rain didn't dampen our spirits and it was great to see a good turnout of Zwartbles and always lovely to catch up with fellow Z breeders and old friends from Harper! (Published July, 2016)
